SC-PT90 features a 1080p up-conversion function that converts standard definition (720 x 576 pixels) images from DVD sources to high definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) images. These up-converted signals draw out the maximum performance of an HDMI compatible 1080p HDTV, giving you vivid, sharp and exceptionally detailed high-resolution images to enjoy.

SC-PT90 realises powerful bass sound through downwards release of sound from the speaker unit and port to utilise the sound reflection of the floor.

SC-PT90 is compatible with Front Layout Mode which allows 5.1ch surround sound with 5 speakers placed in the front. Even with space limitation, 5.1ch surround sound can be enjoyed with selectable speaker layout.

SC-PT90 is compatible with a feature of ARC (Audio Return Channel) to allow receiving audio/video signals to the TV with a single cable, and simplify the connetion by eliminating an audio cable connection between the TV audio output and the main unit's audio input.

Easy Setup is a very convenient function that allows anyone to easily set up the home cinema system with any type of TV by simply following the on-screen instructions. Anyone can then easily set it up by following the directions on the screen, for movie enjoyment.
